The Council has launched #HelpNewham
A way of delivering support to residents who are most in need. We are using a network of schools and council buildings across our community neighbourhoods to act as distribution centres for support services for our residents.
The GP practices in our Primary Care Network are here to support you with your health and wellbeing. On Friday 4th December 2020 we supported Alzheimer’s Society with their fundraising and awareness raising Elf Day event. To mark the occasion our Social Prescribing team hosted a webinar where they signposted to the support available from Alzheimer’s Society and other local services for people with a dementia diagnosis, their carers and families.

Macmillan Cancer Support are here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support.
At Stratford Health Centre and The Forest Practice we always mark Macmillan Cancer Support’s annual coffee morning fundraiser.
In 2020 we went virtual, hosting a webinar on Zoom to mark the occasion on Friday the 25th September and raised £285.00
